Battle for Wesnoth
Yes, it’s an online turn-based adventure game! With campaign and multiuser modes. And it’s free! Strangely addictive. Maybe because I get hooked for any game that gives me some mental stimulus for a while. When I know a game through and through and there is no plot to keep my interest up, I rapidly lose my interest in it.
I will make a prediction about this game: I will lose interest in it after a while! There. I’m a bonafide futureteller now! But for now, it has me hooked. Since the campaigns are quite extensive, and I’m a very poor strategic, it will take me a while before I get bored with it. Perhaps I will even learn a little about strategics that will come in handy in other areas of my life?

I’m stuck with FrozenBubble (http://www.frozen-bubble.org/) right now…and I’ve managed to get Hannes parents completely addicted as well.

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1 Windows XPAaah, that game! I’ve played an incarnation of it many years ago. Don’t remember what it was called though. Played it on a Mac. Was much fun, but it isn’t as appealing to me now, so… where is the danger of me trying it out too?

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1 Windows XPThe worst part is that you have to start over from the beginning every time. So it will take an entire evening and night to get through all 100 levels.

Påminn mig att inte följa några av era länkar. Tid är redan en bristvara.

Yepp, I did follow the link. And nope, I just took a quick look and then killed the browser so I wouldn’t get hooked.
But that damn Firefox add-on I got after reading your other blog remembered the page and opened it again when I restarted the browser.
I’ve still managed to avoid Wesnoth though.
Huh, why am I writing this in english. Time to shut up and go to bed. Cya!

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.2 Windows XPAbout not following links. I sent this URL http://bash.org/?434593/ out on a joke mailing list at work. You’d be surprised at how many people that didn’t realize that the refered text was the joke. They just had to cut’n'paste the url on the refered page into their browser. Suckers!
