   Ha, just to see if M$ caught upp with reality I tried to add search engines to IE7. It worked like a charm. Even the add custom search engine function worked. I had to use it to install an IMDB search since IMDB wasn’t among the preconfigured search engines.

   The search bar is there for 1.5 as well, but there is no managing tool, so it seems like they can only be added from the official page.

    Yes, I read that IE7 would use the same standard as Firefox does, they differ somewhat. I’m not sure my plugins are in accordance with the IE7 standard, since I haven’t yet installed IE7 Might do that soon though
