Away from home - Day 1
I arrived on friday at 10 pm at the home of Mari and Peter and their two sons, up here in Dalarna. As always it’s a pleasure to come here! Mari and Peter are good friends of mine and it’s great to get to see them again. I last saw them last year, at the naming ceremony for their youngest son.
This is their eldest son, with a diaper on his head! I tried to tell him that in 10 years time he wouldn’t find this picture so funny, when he would bring his first girlfriend (or boyfriend) home and Mari would whip up the family photo album to show them what he had been like as a kid! But he just laughed and continued wearing the diaper, and also proudly posed for the photo.
Their kids are fun to play with, and fun to listen to! Great kids
Their place is beautiful in itself and it’s surrounded by fantastic nature! It’s a great place to get a break from city life at.
They’ve been feeding me a lot of food! I hope they’re not planning on making a local delicacy out of me! Mika in a jar, much like Mika in your mobile, except more meat and less song.
The trouble is that since it’s almost all local stuff, like homegrown tomatoes, meat from next door, potatoes from a farm not far away and home made juices (strawberry, blackcurrant and more), it’s all delicious! I can’t stop eating!
Peter makes awesome grilled meat. We ate ribs for dinner, and I think it’s the best ribs I’ve ever had. So juicy, so good. I’m still full from the dinner. Couldn’t stop myself from stuffing and extra rib into me. It’s only fair. If I lost one for the sake of a woman, I can try getting it back from a pig!
The rest of the day was spent relaxing, talking mostly with Mari, and taking a trip to the local market and cultural happening. Then Mari made a guided visualization for me, where I jumped 10 years ahead of time to take a look where I would be then. It was and exhilirating experience! Got a lot of things to process from that one.
Now it’s time for bed, tomorrow a friend from Torsby will be picking me up and we’re going to the sunday training at 5 pm in Torsby, the first training of a whole week of training!

Dang! Gotta do something fast, this entry makes me seem WAY too serious and mature! *Lifts up her t-shirt and flashes the readers* There, that should put that right again.
No, we’re not planning to eat Mika, he’s not tender enough (meatwise), we’re planning to use him as bear-bait, hoping to get some great photos!

I like my Mika like I like my coffee: in a meat-filled jar.

Ewwwwww!!! I don’t like to be stuffed into meat-jars!
Man-meat coffee sounds… extremely not good! I don’t like coffee, and with man-meat flawor… I’m sure it would’t be an improvement!
